OCO is a Nigerian company incorporated on 27th January 1995 with registration number RC 264319 as an integrated industrial services company. Our specialties include fabrication and installation; civil works; facilities maintenance; corrosion control; hot-dip galvanizing; electrical and instrumentation works; project management; well services; supply and installation of power and distribution transformers; labour outsourcing; quality management and inspection services; sales, leasing and maintenance of welding machines, air compressors, air tools, ancillary equipment and accessories.
We are accredited by Nigerian Institute of Welding (NIW) as an Authorized Training Body (ATB) for training, certification and recertification of welders and fitters to international standards. The company is an accredited products and service agent of MILLER, AEC TECHNOLOGY & E.H.WACHS (ITW Companies) and SULLAIR, manufacturers of MILLER welding products, Heat Treatment Machines, Pipe Machining Tools and SULLAIR air compressors, air tools, accessories and consumables, respectively.
OCO is also a major distributor for HOBART & BOHLER Electrodes, PHOENIX Electrode Stabilizing Ovens, and Jackson Safety Products. All these products are ISO certified and all OCO processes are carried out to ISO9001:2008 and/or customer standards.
OCO is also a major distributor for LINCOLN HOBART Electrodes, PHOENIX Electrode Stabilizing Ovens, Chalwyn Limited (producers of Engine Protection Systems) and Jackson Safety Products. All these products are ISO certified.
OCO operates from its own yard measuring 105 meters by 78 meters located at plot 77c Trans Amadi Industrial Layout in Port Harcourt. The company has two fully equipped fabrication shops measuring 36 meters by 18 meters and 24 meters by 9 meters.
Our Commitment
National Content Development (NCD)
OCO supports and is fully committed to the National Content Development (NCD) Policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Having operated for close to two decade in Nigeria, the company has developed an understanding of local business environment and an intimate working relationship with indigenous subcontractors and suppliers. The company operates a deliberate policy of transfer of technology, expertise and general competence from its foreign technical experts to Nigerians.
OCO has a verifiable program to address NCD issues in terms of employment and training opportunities provided to Nigerian engineers, technicians, welders and other professions in the execution of all its projects.
Currently we operate from its own yard measuring 105 meters by 78 meters located at Plot 77c OCO Drive, Trans Amadi Industrial Layout in Port Harcourt. The company also has two fully equipped fabrication shops measuring 24 meters by 9 meters and 36 meters by 18 meters.
In addition, there is one dedicated welders training and testing workshop measuring 25 meters by 10 meters, and one service workshop (26 meters by 8 meters). We have cranes and forklift trucks with lifting capacities of up to 75 tonnes.
OCO has access to Naval Shipyard waterfront facilities in Port Harcourt and has initiated steps to develop similar facilities owned by OCO in Epe, Lagos State
